Carlo Allion

Carlo Allion was born 1959 in Toronto, Canada. As a child he had lived in Germany for a number of years eventually making his way back to Canada in 1974. Carlo now resides at his Studio/Residence in Brooklin, Ontario…a small town just east of Toronto.

Expressing his creativity visually had always been a passion with Carlo. In the hopes of persuing a career in Graphic Design or Fine Arts he enrolled in a Visual and Creative Arts Program at College after completing High School. Unfortunately he was only able to complete the first year of his studies before joining the work force. For the next 15 years Carlo endevered to persue a variety of career paths, from Retail Sales and Management, to Landscape Company Owner.

In 1995 Carlo decided it was time to make a change and focus on a more hands on creative line of work. Starting up Faux F/X, an interior decorative painting company soon had him back in his element of working with color, textures and design.

Carlo started working directly onto canvas again in the fall of 2006, picking up were he had left off 27 years ago. Now incorporating his skills learned as a texturist and a glazing specialist into his art.

After successfully showing his work publicly in 2007/2008 and with active Gallery representation, Carlo is now devoting all his time to pursuing his life long passion of being a visual artist.
